Melintas terhadap sumbu x:
- Hal ini diyakini bahwa jika indikator naik di atas 100 selama uptrend, hal ini adalah sinyal bullish;
- Sebaliknya jika indikator turun di bawah 100 selama downtrend, sinyal bearish muncul.
Jatuh dari kisaran normal:
- Titik ekstrim berarti bahwa harga telah mencatat kenaikan terkuat atau sejumlah kerugian tertentu dari periode bergerak, mendukung kekuatan tren;
- Pada saat yang sama jika pergerakan harga terlalu cepat, mereka kemungkinan akan menunjukkan di bidang overbought dan oversold.
Pola divergence:
- Jika harga baru hits tinggi, tetapi indikator tidak, itu bisa berarti bahwa sentimen investor sebenarnya lebih rendah;
- Dan sebaliknya jika harga baru turun ke level terendah, tetapi indikator tidak mendukung drop, itu adalah sinyal bahwa tren dapat segera berakhir.
