We believe the bullish momentum will continue after the price breaches above the upper boundary of Donchian channel at 208.81. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to buy. The stop loss can be placed below 202.30. AMAZON stock price closed higher yesterday after JPMorgan upgraded its stock target for Amazon to $240 from $225. The world's largest bank by market capitalization cited Amazon's advertising business, Project Kuiper satellite internet, its grocery business, logistics offering, Prime Video and other businesses, telling the company " is the most diversified mega-cap across revenue/profit and has numerous large growth opportunities." Amazon stock was placed at the top of the “Best Ideas” list by JPMorgan as the bank said that expectations of tariff relief following a deal to lower tariffs on China, lower US recession risk and Amazon’s performance justified the more positive view. Amazon price target upgrade by JPMorgan is bullish for Amazon stock. At the same time, JPMorgan noted that Amazon’s most direct tariff exposure among internet stocks as well as highest exposure to adverse effects from possible downturn in broader economy are downside risks for the stock.
