Volume Seimbang – Indikator OBV
Cara Menggunakan Volume Seimbang
Garis Volume Seimbang digunakan untuk penegasan tren atau kemungkinan titik balik untuk tujuan identifikasi.
Penegasan tren:
- Uptrend dalam haga ditegaskan jika garis naik;
- Downtrend dalam harga ditegaskan jika garis turun.
Analisis pola divergensi:
- Garis OBV naik bersama dengan penurunan harga mengindikasikan downtrend akan melemah hingga pembalikan bulish;
- OBV yang turun beserta dengan penurunan harga mengindikasikan uptrend akan melemah hingga pembalikan bearish.

OBV(t) = OBV(t-1) + Vol, if C(t) > C(t-1); OBV(t) = OBV(t-1) – Vol, if C(t) < C(t-1); OBV(t) = OBV(t-1), if C(t) = C(t-1), di mana: t – periode sekarang; t-1 – periode sebelumnya; C – harga tutup; Vol – volume.
